Daily Circuit
Set the switches so the lamp lights, then power on to test. Exactly one setting works, and you have six tries. Monday's circuit is the easiest; the weekend's are the hardest.
How to play
Each switch on the left sends a 1 (on) or a 0 (off) into the circuit. Gates combine those signals, and the lamp lights when the final gate outputs a 1. Flip switches with the buttons below the board or by tapping the switches themselves.
Power on to test a setting. Wires carrying a 1 turn green and wires carrying a 0 go dashed, so even a wrong try tells you something. Read the gates from the lamp backwards and you can often solve it on the first try.
- ANDOn only when both inputs are on.
- OROn when either input is on.
- XOROn when exactly one input is on.
- NANDThe opposite of AND: off only when both inputs are on.
- NORThe opposite of OR: on only when both inputs are off.
- NOTFlips its one input.
